Daniel Annie Pope thanks everyone for helping him gain medical assistance for wife during lockdown

Actor Daniel Annie Pope of Bigg Boss fame 2 fame, who recently complained that he and wife

Denisha Sahadevan

had to face unruly behaviour from Corporation staff while trying to get medical assistance during the

lockdown

, finally received help. He has taken to his social media handle today (July 1) to thank Chief minister Edappadi K Palaniswami, Health minister

Dr C Vijayabaskar

and everyone for the timely support.

Sharing his concerns with E Times TV, Daniel said, “The corporation staff, Dr. R Latchiya Varna, DPH Health Officer and the Police officials got in touch with us. We shared our concerns that Denisha had to undergo cesarean surgery for child delivery. Hence, she is in need of medical care post delivery also. They gave ears to our issues and made arrangements for permission passes for us to go out of our apartment for medical needs. Fortunately, the mandatory quarantine restrictions are also coming to an end in the coming days. I hope the barricades would soon be taken off completely. I would like to specially thank

Dr. R Latchiya Varna

for understanding our need to avail medical treatment”.


Commenting on the same, Dr. R Latchiya Varna said, “Of course, the risk of stepping out is prevalent but no one should be deprived from medical assistance of any sort. The concerned authorities should implement guidelines with discretion.”
