Prajin started his career as a Video jockey. He later acted in a few Tamil and Malayalam films. He is presently acting in the serial Chinna Thambi as Chinna Thambi.

Nandhini (Pavani Reddy) an arrogant city girl. But she falls in love with Chinna Thambi post marriage. This is the remake of the Bengali television serial Khokababu.
