Love- Hate Relationship of Balaji and his wife Nithya
Bigg Boss Tamil 2 has taken fans by surprise by featuring estranged real-life couple Balaji and Nithya. The show served as an opportunity for the couple to patch up but they were often seen getting into serious arguments inside the house. The two were expected to reconcile after the completion of the show.
Slammed for using foul language
Balaji’s stay in the house was eventful. The first few weeks in the house were dominated by the discussion on the troubled marriage of Balaji and Nithya. The audience were shocked when Balaji used foul language in the show at wife Nithya. Fans on social media slammed him for his attitude towards a female contestant.
Aishwarya Throwing Garbage on Balaji
Bigg Boss Tamil 2 contestant Aishwarya Dutta alleged that Balaji didn’t obey his words during one of the tasks and that is why she threw litter on him. This was unacceptable for Balaji and the audience. Aishwarya faced the wrath of the fans on social media for her disrespectful attitude.
Tiff with Mahat
Mahat Raghavendra and Balaji got into a heated verbal exchange. Mahat got upset with Balaji commenting on his argument with Yashika Anand. At one point Mahat called Thadi Balaji a 'joker' while mocking him as 'Comedy Thalaivaa'. Later in the show, they seemed to have got along.
Glimpse of hope for reunion
Balaji managed to stay in the house till the last week of the season and got evicted on Day 98. During the post eviction discussion, Kamal invited Nithya and daughter Poshika to the stage. Nithya thanked Kamal Haasan and said that Balaji, who couldn’t be reformed in 9 years, was reformed to a large extent in 90 days.
But after the Bigg Boss season, the couple once again grabbed headlines with Nithya reportedly filing a complaint against Balaji for a death threat.
