Reality show Bigg Boss Tamil 5 witnessed a grand launch today (October 3). Host Kamal Haasan started the new season on a high note. The host gave the audience a virtual tour of the lavish Bigg Boss house. Later, he welcomed 18 participants to the show. This season has an interesting mix of contestants including media personalities, actors, singers, folk artists, and anchors. For the first time, a transgender contestant has participated in Bigg Boss Tamil. Transgender contestant Namitha Maritmuthu made her entry into the show. The contestants spiced up the entertainment quotient with their spectacular performances. Kamal requested Akshara Reddy and Suruthi Periyaswamy to perform a ramp walk.
