Bigg Boss Tamil 4: Velmurugan’s elimination to wild card contestant Suchitra’s entry, here’s what happened in week 5
The week 5 was very much eventful like the earlier weeks. From Velmurugan’s elimination to the wild card contestant Suchitra’s entry, this is what happened in week 5 in the house.
Velmurugan’s elimination
Folk singer and playback singer Velmurugan got evicted from the house during the fourth weekend episode on November 1. He became the second contestant to get evicted from the Bigg Boss Tamil 4 show. He bid adieu to the show after 28 days stay in the house.
Suchitra’s entry
Radio jockey and playback singer Suchitra aka Suchitra Ramadurai made her entry into the house on the same day, weekend episode of November 1. She became the second wild card contestant to become part of the show.
Kamal’s appreciation for Anitha
Anitha Sampath picked on the word ‘Sumangalis’ uttered by Suresh Chakravarthy. Anitha said that the usage of such words could have hurt the sentiments of women who lost their husbands. Kamal lauded Anitha's thoughts and clapped her and showered appreciation for her act.
Kamal Haasan lauds Aari Arjuna’s clarity
Aari Arjuna got angry as he was nominated as worst performer and sent to glass house for two weeks in a row. Aari decided to take on groupism and favoritism head on. He said, from now on he will observe all the mistakes of the housemates and name them and shame them. In the weekend episode, Kamal appreciated Aari’s bold and clear speech against groupism.
Samyuktha Karthik becomes captain
Samyuktha Karthik, Balaji Murugadoss and Som Shekar were the contenders for captaincy. In the task for captaincy, the contenders were asked to collect as many balls as possible, which were thrown at them by other housemates. As there were not rules in the task, Balaji helped Samyuktha to become the captain.
Nominations
On the first day of the fifth week, the housemates were asked to nominate two contestants with valid reasons. Suchitra and Samyuktha Karthik had immunity from nomination. Finally, 7 contestants, namely Aari Arjuna, Anitha Sampath, Balaji, Sanam, Archana Chandhoke, Som Shekar, and Suresh got nominated for eviction.
Balaji - Sanam fight on kicking in the back
During a chat at night, Sanam Shetty kicked Balaji Murugadoss in his back. The next morning, Balaji used the word ‘Dardhalai’ with Sanam. While Sanam displayed her anger, Balaji evoked the topic of Sanam kicking him in the back. Balaji asked, wouldn’t it be projected the other way if he had kicked her in the back. Sanam asked Balaji to kick in her back and close the issue.
Aari Arjuna accusing Samyuktha Karthik of being biased
During the changeover of the duty to new teams, the housekeeping works weren’t completed by the previous team headed by captain Velmurugan. Without raising the issues with the previous team, captain Samyuktha Karthik asked the new housekeeping team headed by Aari Arjuna to clean the house. This broke into a huge fight and Aari accused Samyuktha of being biased.
Balaji supports Sanam to take on Suresh
In the ‘Vivadha Medai’ courtroom task, Suresh Chakravarthy and Sanam Shetty were fighting a case. All of a sudden, Balaji Murugadoss extended his support to Sanam and helped her to win the case. By doing so, Balaji negated the negative impression of a high decibel fight with Sanam and also settled scores with Suresh.
Balaji Murugadoss - Shivani Narayanan’s increasing closeness
In the past few days, Balaji Murugadoss and Shivani Narayanan have been getting along more closely. They have begun to feed sweets to each other. Shivani was seen doing head massage to Balaji.
Suresh Chakravarthy ends ties with Gabriella Charlton
Gabriella Charlton raised a complaint against Suresh Chakravarthy of over reacting in the house. Gabriella won the case in this friendly complaint against Suresh. But, Samyuktha (as captain) meddled in their case and influenced the judge Suchitra to conduct an opinion poll of whether Suresh indulges in mischiefs and created chaos. Suresh said to Gabriella that when he has apologised for getting angry, she shouldn’t have raked up the incident again. Hence, he decided to cut all ties.
