Actor Ponnambalam of Bigg Boss Tamil 2 fame needs no introduction. Ponnambalam has been suffering from kidney related ailment and was hospitalised on a few occasions. Recently, Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi has donated Rs. 2 lakh towards Ponnambalam's treatment.A video of Ponnambalam thanking Chiranjeevi for the timely help is doing the rounds on social media.In the past, Ponnambalam and Chiranjeevi have shared screen space in many Telugu movies and the two share a good rapport,Earlier, actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and many others have lent a helping hand to Ponnambalam.
