Bigg Boss Tamil – 16th August 2017, Episode 53 Update: On Day 52, Suja Varunee enters Bigg Boss House

On Day 52, Bigg Boss Tamil housemates are woken up to the song ‘Thaayinmanikodi JaiHind’ as an Independence Day special. After that, housemates continue the Bigg Boss task where they have to convince Bindu Madhavi that there is a ghost in the house. Housemates find plates broken and Bindu Madhavi’s clothes near the swimming pool in the morning. Vaiyapuri complains to Bigg Boss that they have been living in constant fear and this is not what they signed up for. He wells up in front of the rest of the housemates and says that they should be at least treated as human beings. Housemates urge Bigg Boss to do some Pooja in the house to ward off the negative energy. Raiza, in the meantime, continues to catch some sleep even as Bigg Boss asks Captain Bindu Madhavi to ensure that no one breaks the rule of not sleeping during the day in the house.

Bindu Madhavi complains to Bigg Boss that the plates were broken in the morning and that she needs to check what exactly happened. Bigg Boss says that camera went off for few minutes and that they do not have the footage. But at the same time, he assured Bindu Madhavi that he would do the needful. Vaiyapuri laughs inside the rest room after seeing the tension in the house. Raiza complains to Bigg Boss that she wants to leave the house.

In the meantime, Bigg Boss sends a manth inside the house to ward off all evil spirits. He asks housemates about what happened inside the house and they explain the sequence of things. He asks Bindu to bring a clean bottle with a cap and walks around the house with the bottle, trying to bottle up the negative energy. He lets it out in the pool. By the time he is done, Bindu Madhavi is pushed into the pool. Only then housemates, reveal that it was all part of a task. Bindu Madhavi is taken by surprise and they all start laughing. The poojari leaves soon after and housemates try to get some rest.

Just when they are finished having their dinner, they hear some music and all housemates step out of the house. They see actress Suja Varunee dangling in the air on a rope, making her wild card entry in the house. She then meets the housemates and introduces herself to everyone. Ganesh tries to make her feel at home and helps her out with the dinner. Snehan and Vaiyapuri make fun of Ganesh saying how he was going out of his way to make Suja Varunee comfortable. Once he is done, they ask Ganesh why the special treatment for Suja. Ganesh says that he has been treating everyone equally well.

In the meantime, Gayathri says that Suja is another Julie and that they should be careful with her. Later, women in the house tell Suja that there was an evil spirit in the house and that it was let out in the swimming pool. They go to sleep after discussing evil spirits and negative energy.
