Stand-up comedian Badava Gopi is all set to entertain the audience in a new avatar. He is making his TV debut with the upcoming serial

Sharing the teaser, Badava Gopi wrote, “Wishing team a colourful success

My maiden project in television as a lead support character (sic)”

According to the story, Sundaramoorthy (essayed by Badavi Gopi) is the father of Abhirami (Reshma), Anandhi (Jayashri) and Aravind (Sanjay Raja). Sundaramoorthy is a drunkard who spends money earned by Abhirami, the eldest daughter. Abhirami is a professional tailor who runs a small business in the name of ‘Abhi Tailor’.

Badava Gopi is basically a stand-up comedian and actor. But, the multifaceted talent is also a RJ, mimicry artist, singer and cricket commentator.

Badava Gopi made his acting debut in the movie ‘Poi’, directed by the legendary director K. Balachander. Later, he went on to feature in more than 25 movies.

Badava Gopi and his wife Haritha participated in the reality show Mr. and Mrs. Chinnathirai.

On the personal front, Badava Gopi and Haritha celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary recently.
