Actor Amit Bhargav is all set to make a cameo appearance on the popular romantic-drama

. The channel airing the show has confirmed the same on their official media handles with the promo videos.

The makers of the show are adding new characters, as well as, twists and turns to spice up the entertainment quotient.

Amit will play the character

Velu

in the show. The episodes featuring him, as Velu, will go on air from today (April 27).

According to the recent episodes of Idhayathai Thirudathey, suddenly Shiva (

Navin Kumar

) and Sahana (

Hima Bindhu

) go missing. Velu (Amit Bhargav) - a goon, who gets released from jail, starts searching for Shiva and Sahana. Later, it is revealed that Velu is an undercover cop. Following this, whether Amit is able to find out Shiva and Sahana, forms the crux of the story in the upcoming episodes.

Currently, Amit is essaying the lead role of Abhinav Janardhanan in the show ‘Thirumathi Hitler’.

Earlier, Amit made a cameo appearance on the show Kanmani as himself. Amit has featured in the shows like Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai (as Arjun), Mappillai (as Deepak), Seethe (as Lord Rama),

Mahabharatham

(as Lord Krishna), to name a few. He earned huge name and fame with the show Nenjam Marapathillai, while performing the role of ACP Vikram.

Amit Bhargav is a voiceover artist and a good singer. He often impresses the audience with soulful renditions of songs. He has also does movies.
