Amit Bhargav, Sriranjani to get married this month

Amit Bhargav of Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai fame is all set to tie the knot with television anchor and radio jockey Sriranjani Sundaram on June 16. An excited Amit says, “A lot of people have told me that my life will change post wedding. Now, I am really looking forward to this commitment. I have seen the bond my parents share.I wanted to share that sort of a life with someone, and I am glad to have met Sriranjani.“
Talking about how she met Amit, Sriranjani says, “Amit is from Bangalore. He had come down to Chennai for work. We first met at a theatre workshop. At the end of the two-day workshop, we exchanged numbers. I wanted to cast him in my web series and wanted to meet him. We met at a coffee shop and realised that we both shared a lot of common interests. We became good friends and developed a liking for each other. Around that time he asked me out, Amit had to go to Lonavala (near Mumbai) for four months to be a part of the Kannada Bigg Boss shoot. Once he got back, I had to move to Dubai for a year. I got back six months ago. Our parents met each others' families and the wedding was fixed.“

Ask Sriranjani about all the female attention Amit's getting and she laughs, “He used to tell me about it when I was in Dubai. But only after I got back to Chennai I knew he had so many fans. A couple of young girls came up to me and said, `Oh, you're getting married to Amit'. It's fun.“
