Mullai is initially played by actress
VJ Chitra
. After her sad demise, the role was replaced by Kaaviya Arivumani. In a fateful situation, Mullai marries
Kathir. Though she initially hates him, she starts to love him. Currently, the story line has started revolving around Mullai's pregnancy.
The character has gained such wide popularity for Kaaviya Arivumani that she is set to make her debut in a movie titled 'Ripubury'. Now the rumours are rife that the actress has decided to quit the show and Raja Rani fame Alya Manasa is expected to replace her. However, the official announcement is yet to be made.
Pandian Stores is the story about the unity of four brothers. Dhanalakshmi (played by
Sujitha Dhanush
) gets married to the elder brother,
Sathyamoorthy
(portrayed by Stalin Muthu). Dhanalakshmi, being the eldest daughter-in-law of the family, takes care of Sathyamoorthy's brothers like their mother. What happens to the unity of the family when Sathyamoorthy's other brothers get married? This forms the major crux of the story.
