Rohit in season two of 'Birbal aur Viraat'

will soon be back in action with season two of '

Birbal Aur Viraat

', an extension of 'Akbar Birbal'. He will be seen playing the character of Viraat, who is a thief and is highly secretive. Viraat only steals rare and precious items from royal and influential families, his motive being to challenge his calibre. Adds Rohit, “My character will be like that of Robin Hood, who steals from the rich and gives to the poor.”


Khurana had started his career with a small role in the show 'Choti Maa: Ek Anokha Bandhan' in 2001 in a small role. The role which made him a popular face on the small screen was in the hit TV series 'Uttaran' where he played Vansh Singh Bundela. He was last seen on the small screen in the show 'Lajwanti' where he played a negative lead role as Jamaal Peshawari
