Sharmishtha Raut, who recently tied the knot with Tejas Desai in Thane. The couple enthusiastically performed various rituals and made the most of their special day. But what made their day an extra special one was the mangalashtak sung by Nayana Apte.
The senior actress who is Sharmishtha's co-star in their ongoing show 'He Mann Baware' couldn't make it to the ceremony due to the current pandemic situation.
However, as she had promised Sharmishtha, Apte sent a self-recorded mangalashtak song to play on the occasion.
Actor Abhijeet Kelkar, who was also present at the wedding announced that veteran actress has sent a recorded version as she couldn't be there, in person. Needless to mention, her mellifluous voice touched everyone's heart and made Sharmishtha a bit emotional too.
The newlyweds who stole the show with their Peshwai style outfits plan to throw a reception for her friends in the industry, early next year.
Sharmishtha, who will be resuming her work soon is currently spending quality time with her husband in Mumbai. In fact, sharing a few adorable pictures on social media, she captioned, "Marriages are like fingerprints, each one is different but each one is beautiful Delightful morning with him I love u @tejas.desai.1044, (sic). She had shared earlier that 'He Mann Baware' will soon be going off air.
