Sagar Deshmukh who is portraying the role of Dr Ambedkar in a Marathi television show 'Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar' had urged people to stay indoors and celebrate the day in a low-key manner.
He added, "I request people to take this occasion to start reading
books
written by the principle architect of Indian constitution. He was a great man and one must not just read the books he is written but also embrace his ideologies. Also, one can read these books online till the lockdown is imposed. After that, they can visit the libraries and flip through more such books written by him."
Sagar has garnering a good response for his character in the TV show that veers around the life of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.
