Dada Kondke's 91st Birth anniversary is on August 8. Dada was an inevitable part of the Marathi films, which were a combination of genuine humor from village-style stories from everyday life, hilarious dialogues and his dancing skills. Now, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, a feast of some of his best-known movies is set to pay tribute to him and entertain the viewers.
Even after five decades, the audience will get to see the king of comedy, whose films still feel fresh and make them laugh out loud. On the special day, Dada's fans will be treated to six blockbuster movies.
Along with the special films on August 8, on every upcoming Sunday after August 6, his movies will treat the viewers.
Dada produced 16 films in his career, and all those films became silver jubilees. His name was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records for the highest number of films (nine) that achieved the silver jubilee (running for 25 consecutive weeks).

Talking about the personal side of Dada, he was married to
Nalini, but later they got divorced. He did not remarry. On March 14, 1998, Dada reportedly suffered a heart attack at his residence, Rama Niwas, in Dadar, Mumbai. At the time, he was working on the film
Jaraa Dheer Dhara with
Usha Chavan. He was 65 years old when he passed away.
