The makers will narrate the most interesting situations of the story wherein despite being deceitfully stabbed by Afzal Khan, how Shivaji Maharaj killed him using his "wagh nakh" (tiger claws), slashed his stomach and made him disemboweled. As per the recent storyline of the show, Afzal Khan came from Bijapur intending to kill Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and end the

sultanate. He made his way to Wai near Pratapgad and desecrated temples at Pandharpur. Afzal Khan also killed Shivaji Maharaj's elder brother

in a battle. Shivaji Maharaj sent his lawyer to Afzal Khan stating that he did not want to fight and was ready for peace. A meeting was arranged between Shivaji Maharaj and Afzal Khan at a shamiana (highly decorated tent) at the foothills of Pratapgad. They also agreed that they would bring only ten personal bodyguards each with them.
