Siddharth Chandekar shoots for horror TV show; says he actually gets scared on sets
Actor Siddharth Chandekar
who has entertained audiences with interesting roles in movies like 'Gulabjam', 'Vazandar
'and many more is now doing a full fledgedTV show
after a long time. Interestingly with this new show 'Sang Tu Ahes Ka
' he will be exploring the horror/thriller genre for the first time. When asked if he actually loves watching horror movies, he said yes "But... after watching horror movies I stay scared for the next few days. Different thoughts come to my mind," Siddharth adds. Ever since the shoot has begun, there are few instances where the actor got scared on the sets. When asked if any creepy thing happened on sets he adds, "We have just started shooting for the show. There are some scenes where the light flickers or something happens suddenly then I actually get scared. But nothing creepy has happened on set yet," he laughs.
The TV shows require temperament and that is a challenging thing for the actor, "There is no specific look or language that I had to work on for this show. However my challenge is to maintain temperament. Usually for films you are in character for a month or so but for TV shows you have to maintain the character for a long time. As I haven't done any fullfleged show recently so maintaining temperament is a challenge for me," Siddharth adds.
The show will also have Shivani Rangole and Sania Chaodhari. Shivani Rangole who had played various impressive roles will be seen essaying an interesting role. Sharing about Shivani, Siddharth says, "Shivani is a talented actress. I remember when I was a judge at the Shravan Queen competition when she was a contestant. She has come a long way. It will be fun working with the cast in the show."
As the cinema halls have opened the actor is excited about the movie Zimma featuring him. The movie is slated to release soon, "As the cinema halls have started recently I am actually looking forward to watching a movie on the big screen. My movie Zimma will be released soon and that will be my first movie to watch on the big screen after lockdown."
