passed away on Wednesday (September 5). The veteran actress played the role of Gauri’s Aaji in the show.

Sayali Sanjeev, who played the role of Gauri in the show was very close to Shubhangi. After learning about Shubhangi’s sudden demise, the actress could not stop her tears.
While exclusively talking with TimesofIndia.com, Sayali said, “I have never seen my grandparents. And when I met Shubhangi, my on-screen Aaji, I saw my grandmother in her. And so she was more like my Aaji.”
She added, “Shubhangi Aaji was so loving that when we had the shoots together, she used to get up early on those days just to make my favourite cakes. We also used to share the same makeup kit while getting ready for the shoot.”
Sayali also shared her feelings about Shubhangi Joshi on her Instagram account. She shared a picture from Kahe Diya Pardes’ success party in which she is seen posing with the veteran actress.
