Shashank Ketkar, who played a grey shade role of Samar, had an emotional moment as the show aired its last episode yesterday (August 29). The actor shared a few pictures from the set with co-actors Tanvi Mundle and Aashay Kulkarni and penned a heartfelt thanks note on social media.
In the note, Shashank thanked fans for appreciating his work even as a villain.
Shashank wrote, "Pahile Na Me Tula..I came across another very different project. @kotharevision, @adinathkothare and @zeemarathiofficial Thank you all 🙏🏻 Even though the project ended early, the friendship, many memories and the experience of playing the role of a villain will be there for the entire life. Thanks to all the audience who accepted or rejected me, even as Samar. You expressed anger over Samar's behavior but also appreciated my role and work.Thanks again 🙏🏻 See you soon"
For the unversed, Shashank Ketkar is known for playing lead roles in TV shows but this is the first time, Shashank played a negative role on-screen as Samar. Besides Shashank, actor Aashay Kulkarni played Aniket and actress Tanvi Mundle played Mansi in the show.
Shashank Ketkar was last seen in the TV show He Mann Baware opposite Mrunal Dusanis. He hogged limelight with the popular TV show Honaar Soon Me Hya Gharchi. The show ruled Marathi TV for almost 3 years. Also, Shashank had received several awards for his performance.
