Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh's first Marathi film as a pair, 'Ved', has been one of the most anticipated and talked-about films this year. The film was a superhit at the box office is now set to entertain on the small screen.
A teaser confirming the World Television Premiere of the film is on air, and the latest reports reveal that the film is likely to premiere on August 20th, which will be a three-hour or more-long special event.
Ved is the unique love story of Shravani and Satya. It is directed by Riteish Deshmukh and produced by Genelia Deshmukh. 'Ved' was a huge success at the box office. The movie's dialogues and songs were loved by the audience.
Talking about the world television premiere of his blockbuster movie, actor, director, and producer Ritesh Deshmukh said, "It is a pleasure that Maharashtra's beloved film is going to be telecast on the Marathi TV channel for the first time. The enthusiastic audience gave a great response to the movie. The movie for the audience will now be watched at home with the family. I'm sure the world television premiere will get the same enthusiastic response as the Housefull boards flashed outside the theaters when our film was released."
Producer and popular actress Genelia Deshmukh has also appealed to the audience to watch the world television premiere and expressed the feeling that TV viewers will get a golden opportunity to experience the story of Shravani and Satya once again.
For the uninitiated, Ved was made with a budget of 15 crore, and the film has collected ₹60.67 crore in India and ₹75 crore worldwide.
Ved will premiere on Sunday, August 20 at 7 p.m.
