Prasad Oak turns Jyotiba

Versatile actor Prasad Oak is all set to portray the character of renowned social reformer Mahatma Jyotirao Phule in the new tele-series ‘Aawaz’. He recently revealed his Jyotiba look on Twitter. Besides television, he is actively involved in theatre and films. He is all set to make his directorial debut with Marathi film ‘Kaccha Limbu’.
In this series,this part is written by his friend Chinmay Mandlekar who is a well-known writer-actor.Interestingly, Chinmay is portraying the role of 'Sant Tukaram' in 'Tu Mazha Sangaati' aired on the same channel. Prasad was last seen on TV in a daily soap ‘Honaar Sunn Mi Hya Gharchi’ who is now off air.
