Netizens blame Marathi actress Sayali Sanjeev for rumoured beau Ruturaj Gaikwad's poor performance in IPL 2022; ask her not to 'distract' him with her bold pictures

It seems Rashami Desai has had enough. The actress, after talking about her equation with Umar Riaz in an interview, is being trolled incessantly by fan clubs of the latter. She has now given them a fiery response and also reached out to Mumbai Police through Twitter.

In her recent interview, Rashami Desai talked about her bond with Umar Riaz who she met through Bigg Boss. She said, "Umar might be having someone in his life as he is a very private person. We respect each other’s boundaries. I understand people love to see me with Umar, and I respect that. We are just friends and the kind of bond we have is where we keep fighting a lot and having disagreements...though we fight the friendship is always the same."

Umar Riaz's fans took to Twitter and expressed their anger about Rashami talking about Umar's private life in public when he doesn't. One out of many users wrote, "Who the hell is she to comment on Umar's personal life! When Umar himself said he is single!! Like wtf ,is she trying to prove by doing this all?? P.S: Ab aa jayenge sare umar ko blame karne, cheater dhokebaaz bolke abuse krne as expected."

A user wrote, "@TheRashamiDesai bhi yaad rakhe dost hoke dost ki life ese public mai naa uchaale! Khudki image clear karne k liye doosro ko na giraye!! Ye seekh le pehle fir doosro ki baat karna!" To this Rashami angrily replied, "Kya uchali ? Now you’ll teach me how to talk how to behave how to react !!! Who are you?"

When Rashami's fan asked her to ignore the trolls, Rashami replied, "Kyun? I spoke about family friend they have issues. And they are talking about my brother who’s my family. There ideal will never appreciate this. And, what is this nonsense!! Tu hai koun 🤬 apni haddd main rehna aana chahiye sab ko. Do not drag my family."

In her tweets, Rashami accused fans of Umar for harassing her and dragging her family into the mess. For the unversed, Rashami and Umar were first shipped on Twitter by fans though they have always denied being in a relationship and maintained they are just friends.

Rashami reached out to Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Cyber Agency by tagging them in hate tweets and writing, "My request plz look in to the matter because they are harming me and my family image and it’s the actual fandom or on purpose m getting harassment. My family is getting dragged and it’s a harassment @MumbaiPolice @CybercrimeCID."
