Marathi awards will be telecast on TV tonight. The awards' night saw many prolific artistes from the Marathi film industry being honoured and taking home the Black Lady. Also, there are many scintillating performaces by Sonalee, Pooja Sawant, Vaibbhav Tatwawdi, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Anusha Dandekar, Avadhoot Gupte etc. in store for the television viewers.

Veteran Asha Kale receieved lifetime achievement award for her outstanding contribution to Marathi cinema, which was presented to her by Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. It will be heartening to watch Ravindra Mahajani receiving award for Best Debut Male, on his son Gashmeer's behalf. Bollywood actors like Anil Kapor, Alia Bhatt, Vivek Oberoi and Sushant Singh Rajput made their presence felt at the function. Mukta Barve and Sachin Pilgaonkar bagged Best Actress and Best Actor respectively.
