in her latest Instagram post.

shared a lengthy note on Instagram about body shaming in which she narrated a personal experience with her fans.

Nayannah wrote, "I experienced this too many times in my life...There was this one lady, she had 2 daughters, and they both were fat, and she would come to my house and instead of asking how I am doing she would say "ah ! you're still

skinny

… and one day it was my grand father's funeral and we all were sitting and I was already so depressed and was crying and this lady said "hey! Why are you getting worse? Eat something! I can only see your bones !!! and yes.. I was very depressed and sad, I couldn't tell anyone about this because what if they judge me the same as the lady and I cried so hard in my room and I went to her and said like it's my body I am eating well and living a healthy lifestyle and yet I am skinny and I don't care about that because I can wear anything …"


The actress further added, "I can also shop from the kids section and I can eat anything I want and still be skinny!!! isn't it a blessing!? why do you care?……she was feeling guilty about herself and she deserves to be !!! so I didn't stop her the first time and she was always picking on me but when I stopped her she just stopped talking so , whether they get hurt or not…just express yourself they deserve to feel guilty and they would never do that to anyone so stand up for yourself girls!!! Anyone reading this , be confident in your own body if you like to the way it is….because your opinion is very important than any other ....."
