Marathi actor Ashok Phal Dessai bags a role in Hindi TV show Mehendi Hai Rachne Vali

Marathi actor Ashok Phal Dessai, who played the role of Shiva in the Marathi TV show Jeev Zala Yedapisa, has bagged a role in Hindi TV show Mehendi Hai Rachne Vali. It will be Ashok's Hindi TV debut. The actor, who grabbed audiences’ attention with the Marathi show, recently put up a post on social media informing fans about his new project. However, he did not reveal much about the show and his character.

Ashok, who shot to fame with his TV show Jeev Zala Yeda Pisa, is excited about his Hindi TV show debut. Though the TV show went off air, his robust performance and Shiva character are still in people's hearts.
Talking about the storyline of the show, Shiva, a wicked man, and Siddhi a girl of principles, are forced to get married. However, their different temperaments cause conflicts in their married life. Later, the duo fall in love with each other and their problems get bigger.
Talking about the star cast, Vidula Choughule played Siddhi, Chinmayee Sumeet portrayed the character of Aatyabai.
