Ketaki Chitale

, the

Marathi actress

has made a comeback on the Marathi small screen with this show. She is seen essaying the character Aboli.

While talking exclusively to TimesofIndia.com, she revealed more about her on-screen character Aboli. Ketaki had to do a lot of homework to get into the skin of her on-screen character. She said, “It wasn’t easy for me as I am playing the role of a girl, who is from Indore. Though she speaks Marathi, the dialect which they use has more of the Hindi words. So, I had to learn that dialect from some of my friends, who are from Indore.”

Previously, in the show Ambat Goad, she was seen playing an on-screen character whose name was also Aboli. So while talking about the difference between the two characters, she said, “The genre of Ambat Goad was comedy. But Lakshmi Sadaiva Mangalam is a serious family drama. So, unlike the previous Aboli, the new Aboli will be a little serious person and her character has both positive and negative shades.”

Ketaki started her acting career with the Hindi serial Saas Bina Sasural. She has played prominent roles in a number of popular Marathi shows like Ambat Goad, Lagori and Tuzha Mazha Breakup.
