Jai Malhar actor no more

Actor Atul Abhyankar, who was famous for his portrayal of Hegadi Pradhan in the mythological TV serial 'Jai Malhar', passed away on Wednesday morning around 3 am in Mumbai.
The cause for his death is said to be a heart attack. Abhyankar was a part of the show directed by Mahesh Kothare with Devdatta Nage in the lead role of Lord Khandoba. Abhyankar's body was brought to his home in Prabhadevi at around 12.30 pm and the cremation is to take place at the Shivaji Park crematorium in Mumbai.
Expressing his sadness over the actor's demise, Mahesh Kothare tweeted saying, "With very heavy heart, utter shock and sorrow I say that my "Hegde Pradhan" - Atul Abhyankar is no more - your million $ smile is gone Atul" (sic).
