It’s a baby girl for Chirag and Sana

Good news for actor Chirag Patil and wife Sana Ankola! The couple has welcomed a baby girl on October 10 in Mumbai. The two families — Chirag’s father —Sandeep Patil and Sana’s dad Salil Ankola, both former cricketers, also shared the joy of becoming grandparents online.
We spoke to Chirag, who worked in award-winning Marathi films like ‘Vazandar’ and TV shows like ‘Ek Number’ on becoming a father.Obviously, he couldn’t contain his excitement while sharing the news. “This is the first girl in the Patil family and the excitement is at its peak at our home. I love kids and the moment I got married, I wanted to become a dad even more.”
Chirag further informs, “I always wanted a girl child. God has fulfilled all my wishes. My first born is a girl and she was born on the first day of Navratri, one of the most auspicious occasions for all,” shares he and quips, “Fatherhood is a wonderful experience but I have also become a zombie now.” (Laughs)
Revealing the name of the baby, Chirag says, “We named our girl —Riana—which means a goddess. Sana has chosen this name after doing thorough research.”
