Gauri plays the role of Arohi, an independent woman, who runs her own little mess that was managed by her late parents. On the other hand, Sangram essays the role of Tanmay, a practical and business-minded guy who bends according to his needs and comforts.

Gauri has made her comeback on the small screen after a gap of 3 years.

Gauri's character Arohi, who is an emotional and a sensitive person, takes decisions from her heart. She owns a mess and is a fantastic cook in the show. Like her on-screen character, Gauri too is a very good cook in real life. In an interview, the actress shared her experience about her first cooking experiment and her cooking skills.

The actress said, “While cooking is an everyday thing for me since I stay away from my family due to my work. I know how to cook, and I learnt cooking from my mother. I still remember my first experimental recipe. I learned to cook Daal Khichdi which had become my favourite comfort food. Everyone says that I have similar culinary skills as my mom. But my mom is a fantastic cook and I don’t think I cook as good as she does.”
