Hrishikesh Shelar, who is widely recognized for his role as Adhipati in the show Tula Shikvin Changlach Dhada, has shared his excitement and plans for celebrating the Diwali festival. In a recent interview, the actor expressed his enthusiasm for the festival and shared his heartwarming family traditions and expectations for this special occasion.
Diwali, the Festival of Lights, is a time for family gatherings, joy, and the illumination of homes and hearts.
Hrishikesh reminisced about his cherished memories of celebrating Diwali during his childhood. He recalled the tradition of visiting historical forts like Raigad and Rajgad, and the anticipation of savoring traditional Diwali snacks, or "faral," with his extended family.
He said, "Diwali means during the school holidays we used to go on a trip to Raigad, Rajgad and some other forts and have a snack there, not only the family but everyone in the colony used to join in this trip, but now because of the shooting, all this is not possible. This year my Diwali will be celebrated in Mumbai. This Diwali Mom and Dad are coming home. This is my daughter's first Diwali. Ruhi is 10 months old and she has made our Diwali special"
This year, Hrishikesh's professional commitments have kept him busy, and he mentioned that he is currently unable to travel to historical forts or celebrate in the same manner as before. However, his love for Diwali and his desire to celebrate with family remain intact.
Hrishikesh's perspective on Diwali beautifully reflects the festival's essence – the importance of family togetherness and shared celebrations. While his work schedule may not permit him to revisit historical sites and forts, he eagerly anticipates celebrating Diwali in Mumbai with his loved ones.
One of the highlights of Hrishikesh's Diwali celebration this year is the presence of his daughter, Ruhi. It will be Ruhi's first Diwali, and her father is eagerly looking forward to creating special memories with her. At just ten months old, Ruhi has already brought significant changes to their lives, making the festival of lights all the more special.
