Here’s a list of Marathi TV shows that disappointed the viewers in 2018

From family dramas to historical series, Marathi TV enjoys distinct content. But sometimes, the most promising ones fail to measure up to the expectations. Here’s a quick look at the Marathi shows which disappointed the viewers in 2018.

2/9

Grahan

The show looked very promising during the early days of its launch with veteran actress Pallavi Joshi as the face of the show but later, the storyline lacked lustre and the makers had to wrap up the shoot of the show ahead of its schedule.

3/9

Kunku Tikli Tattoo

The storyline of the show revolved around the difference in the thought process of different generations. The poster and the cast of the show seemed very impressive initially but later the show couldn’t impress the viewers.

4/9

Katti Batti

Katti Batti was a family drama with a pinch of love and humour to it. But the overall show proved to be a disappointer and it was soon concluded.

5/9

Tuzha Mazha Breakup

It featured the story of a couple who initially break up only to fall in love with each other eventually. The show starred Sainkeet Kamat, Ketaki Chitale, Rohini Hattangadi in the lead. Though it was off to a good start, the story failed to spill its magic.

6/9

Shatada Prem Karave

Director Abhijeet Satam (son of Shivaji Satam) had made his TV debut with this show. Adding to this, the promos of the show gained love from all over, but factors like the lead actress Sneha Shah quitting the show midway affected the serial and it was soon shelved.

7/9

Lek Mazhi Ladki

Lek Mazhi Ladki came across a long journey but the twists and turns in the storyline seemed very repetitive which bored the viewers. It was quite evident in the TRPs that the channel had to wrap up the serial.

8/9

Gaav Gata Gajali

Gaav Gata Gajali’s first season was a major hit but the second season proved to be less impressive. There was relatively very less promotion as well and the show was shelved within few weeks.

9/9

Hum Toh Tere Aashiq Hai

The show starred some bigwigs like Pushkar Shrotri, Prasad Oak et al. Also, the storyline of this serial was based on the hit TV series Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai. But still, the show could not impress the Marathi audience.
