Marathi TV industry, Aai Mazi Kalubai is entertaining the audience with its compelling storyline. The coronavirus is rapidly spreading in the nation and it's affecting the entertainment industry too. Recently, a majority of crew members on the set of Aai Mazi Kalubai tested Covid positive.
Veteran actress Ashalata Wabgaokar has also tested positive and is now undergoing treatment at a hospital.

A source from the sets revealed to Etimes TV that, "The cast and crew tested positive on coronavirus on the set but everyone is recovering now. Our senior actress Aashalata Wabgaokar also tested positive of coronavirus. She was in a serious condition earlier but now recovering from it. Prajakta Gaikwad and Alka Kubal are safe. We are taking major precautions on the set but it's not in our hands, we all are trying our best to cope up with it as soon as possible."

For the unversed, popular historical TV show Swarajya Rakshak Sambhaji fame Prajakta Gaikwad is essaying an interesting character Aarya in the TV show Aai Mazi Kalubai. The actor earlier played the iconic character of Maratha warrior Sambhaji Maharaj's wife Yesubai and now she is in a completely different role.
The upcoming serial is based on Goddess Kalubai and her miracles. Prajakta will be seen as Aarya, one of Kalubai’s devotees while veteran actress Alka Kubal will be playing Kalubai. Apart from this, Sharad Ponkshe will also play a pivotal role in the series. Aashalata Wabgaokar is also playing an important role in the series.
