Talking about portraying the role of Jijamata on-screen, Nishigandha said, "It is such a role that needs a great deal of study and preparation. The entire team of

Jai Shivaji has worked a lot on portraying Jijamata better, including the creative team, hair department, makeup department, and others. I also have a huge responsibility on my shoulders while playing such an iconic character."

Nishigandha Wad is getting a lot of appreciation from her promos as Jijau and talking about it, she said, "I would not totally take the credit. I think it is a collective effort. Our team's (Jai Bhavani Jai Shivaji) incredible hard work has paid off. Each and every team works very hard before presenting a role on-screen."
