Marathi actor Vishal Nikam who is playing the devotional character, lord Jyotiba in Dakkhancha Raja Jyotiba, is nowadays focusing more on his workout to portray the mythological role best. Earlier, it was getting unmanageable for
Vishal to set aside a separate time for exercise due to the busy shooting schedule, but now the actor has come up with an interesting idea.
The actor has started working out on set and found this new way to maintain fitness.
Vishal Nikam is using the on-set shooting equipments to work out every day on the set. Along with physical fitness, he is also taking major care of his healthy diet.
Speaking about his passion for fitness, Vishal said, "I had gained 12 kg for the role of Jyotiba. But maintaining this weight during the tough shooting schedule is a new challenge for me. Since I can't go to the gym every day, I work out on set. I work out on the set using the weights that we use for the lights and some of the things we use while shooting. I also follow my diet. Everyone's cooperation has made it possible for me to maintain my fitness. Dakkhancha Raja Jyotiba is also getting a good response from the audience so I have to focus on physical fitness".
