Children's Day Special: Majhi Tuzhi Reshimgath fame Myra Vaikul's father reveals how it is challenging for Myra to work on a TV show at the age of 4
Popular Marathi child actress and social media sensation Myra Vaikul is currently seen in TV show Majhi Tujhi Reshimgath. The young child actor is playing the role of Pari in the show opposite Shreyas Talpade and Prarthana Behere. On the occasion of Children's Day, ETimes TV got in touch with Myra Vaikul and her father spoke about his daughter's journey from social media star to a child actor now, how it is challenging for her to handle fame at the age of 4 and how they as her parents are helping her.
The journey from a social media star to Majhi Tujhi Reshimgath
Talking about bringing Myra into the entertainment industry, Myra's father said, "Her journey started during the lockdown. During the lockdown, we would shoot her videos for fun and share them with family groups. Everyone started appreciating her. Later, Myra's mother decided to upload them on social media platforms and those went viral. And she became a sensation overnight. Later, we decided to take Myra to the audition of the show and she got selected. There was nothing that we had planned or decided for Myra but, it just happened.
Playing Pari on-screen
Myra is her real self on-screen. She is the same at home and with the actors who are on the set. She is too talkative and very active at the same time. Playing the role of Pari was not difficult for her because, in real life too, she is just like her onscreen character Pari.
Working with Shreyas Talpade and Prarthana Behere
Shreyas and Prarthana are so supportive. Shreyas has a 3-year-old daughter and that is the reason why he jelled with Myra so quickly and easily. When Shreyas and Myra first met, they spent a very good time with each other. Myra gets a little uncomfortable when someone directly tries to talk to her but the positive approach of Shreyas and Prarthana helped her to perform better. (PC - Instagram)
Does Myra know that she too is a celebrity now, and she has an immense fan following?
Myra is doing her work. We as parents did not let her know now that she is a celeb. We have not even told her that she has fan clubs and is a celebrity and is famous. We don't want to take away the innocence from her because she is just 4 year-old. If we start showing her that she is too famous and has to act like an actress at this stage, we fear it might have a negative effect on her. (PC - Instagram)
