Birthday special: Did you know C.I.D fame Shivaji Satam played a cop for the first time in a popular Marathi show?
Veteran actor Shivaji Satam of C.I.D fame, who has enthralled everyone with his performances in Bollywood films and television, is celebrating his birthday today i.e. on April 21.
The show was in Marathi language and it starred Ajay Phansekar, Deepak Shirke and Anant Jog and Shivaji Satam in the lead roles. It was the first TV show produced by B.P. Singh. The viewers were surprised to see Shivaji Satam as a police officer for the first time in the show but he nailed his performance. Later, Shivaji Satam played a police officer for the second time in the Hindi TV show C.I.D, a performance that put him on the map.
The actor has been living the character for nearly two decades. Apart from Shivaji, C.I.D. starred Aditya Srivastava as Abhijeet, Dayanand Shetty as Daya and Dinesh Phadnis as Freddy in the lead roles.
