Bigg Boss is a franchise that attracts controversy; however, Bigg Boss Marathi has its own flavor, which has attracted many fresh viewers to it. Bigg Boss Marathi 5 resulted in a blockbuster season, leading to high expectations for this upcoming season 6. As the season of Bigg Boss Marathi 6 is all set to start on January 8, the makers organized a press conference, where Riteish Deshmukh shared many things about the show, its pressure, weighing responsibility and much more.
Riteish Deshmukh's strategy for Bigg Boss Marathi 6 as host
Though as a host Riteish never planned any strategy, even this season he says all his reactions are going to be spontaneous; in fact, he said that he too is like an audience. "The only difference between the audience and me is that I get a chance to talk to the contestant directly, and hence I weigh that larger responsibility to not go wrong in conveying and directing the contestants."

Controversy and channel's role in respecting the couples
Riteish also revealed that while there are a lot of fights and controversy arises due to some notorious contestants, channel plays a vital role when it comes to respecting the content when a couple enters the house. He revealed, "It is the audience's notion that whatever they are seeing is what has happened in the house. But there are a lot of things that are not shown on television, and unfortunately that content does not reach the audience, and that's why audiences are not able to appreciate those things.
But whenever any couple participates in the show, they are aware of the consequences and what the things are that they are dealing with, so a lot of things happened that are not shown on screen, and a lot of things are shown because the contestant wanted to convey that part."
Riteish Deshmukh on channel thinking about families first and not TRPs
He added, "But I think we should also appreciate the channel for a lot of things. Despite knowing that the content will surely get them TRP, as it is exciting and shocking, they refrain from showing it onscreen just to be morally correct; they respect that. A lot of times, we feel that the channel wants to exploit us and does not respect us, but that is not the truth. There are a lot of things that happened but weren't shown. It's not about the contestant; the channel and show also take care of the families who are watching the show. It's not about those two contestants but also the families attached to them, so the channel thinks about how the content can also affect the families of those two contestants because the couple might have kids, and what will happen if they go to school? So all these things are taken into consideration. And that is why this show runs, not because they show whatever for TRP."
