Sumeet posted a few pictures from his visit to the holy shrine and wrote, "बाळूमामाच्या नावानं चांगभलं .."

Sumeet is currently playing the role of Balumama's deity on-screen and is winning the hearts of the audience with his exceptional performance. The actor went to visit the temple and the huge crowd waited outside to meet him. Keeping social distancing in mind, Sumeet took necessary precautions and greeted fans from a distance.

Talking about playing the role of Balumama, Sumeet said, "People are giving me so much of love on my social media account through their comments and wishes. I feel so blessed now. When we make a biopic, whosoever plays the lead has the responsibility to not get any stain on the character and along with this, we should balance our personal life too. Playing the character of Balumama on-screen is a responsibility."

For the unversed,

Balumama Maharaj

is believed to be a proclaimed incarnation of Lord Shiva by many. Legends say he was born into a Shepherd family in Akkol Karnataka and took

Samadhi

at Adamapur, Maharashtra. His teachings concentrated on a moral code of love, forgiveness, helping others, charity, contentment, inner peace and devotion to God and guru.
