Alka Kubal misses late actress Ashalata Wabgaokar on her birth anniversary

Aai Mazi Kalubai actress Alka Kubal shared an emotional post on social media, on the birth anniversary of late actress Ashalata Wabgaokar. Alka shared a throwback picture with the veteran actress and wrote, "Asha Tai..Missing you on your birthday."

Alka reminisced memories with the late actress from Maherchi Sadi days. In the picture, Alka and Ashalata are posing together while shooting for their superhit Marathi film Maherchi Sadi.
Veteran actress Ashalata passed away on 22 November 2020 due to COVID19 related complications. Ashalata and Alka were shooting together for the TV show Aai Mazi Kalubai. Alka also performed the last rites of Ashalata in Satara.
Ashalata was like a mother to Alka. The latter was completely shattered by Ashalata's sudden demise. The actress has known Ashalata for the last 35 years.
On the work front, the popular Marathi film 'Maherchi Sadi' is one of the memorable projects of Alka and Ashalata together. It also starred Vikram Gokhale and Ajinkya Deo in leading roles. In her last TV show Aai Mazi Kalubai, Ashalata played the role of Vivek Sangle's grandmother
