The show was launched in May, 2017, and since the actors have spent a lot of time together on the sets, it is natural for them to get emotional on the last day of the telecast.

Shivani Baokar took to her social media profile to connect with her fans on the last day of the show. She wrote a heartwarming message on her Instagram profile, thanking fans for the love they showered upon the serial.
She posted a picture with her co-actor Nitish and captioned it as, “निरोप घेतोय पण तुमच्या काळजाच्या कोपऱ्यात नेहमीच राहू #lagirajhalaji #ajyashitli”. This means, ‘Though we are taking your leave, we will always stay in the bottom of your heart’.
Lagira Zhala Ji earned popularity because of the rural and defence backdrop in the plot. It portrays Ajinkya’s love towards the nation and also showcased Ajinkya and Sheetal’s love for each other.
Shivani played the lead role 'Sheetal' in the show while Nitish essayed the role of Ajinkya.
Lagira Zhala Ji will now be replaced with the show '

' from the 24th of June.
