Actor Aashutosh Gokhale, who is currently winning hearts of audience with his role as a
Karthik in daily soap ‘Rang Maza Vegla’, was recently tested positive for COVID-19. Recovered after 15 days of treatment and quarantine period at home, he recently resumed shoot for the show.
A couple of weeks ago one of the artistes from the set was found positive for Covid-19, following Aashutosh underwent a test which came positive.
Recently he posted about his recovery and resuming work on his social media handle saying “Back to work after 15 days #endofquarantine”.
Son of senior actor Vijay Gokhale, Aashutosh has managed to establish his identity within a short period with TV shows. During lockdown, the ‘Tula Pahate Re’ actor had volunteered for food distribution to needy people and migrants who were moving out of Mumbai.
His present show ‘Rang Maza Vegla’ talks about beauty stereotype prevalent in society. The show features Reshma Shinde as Deepa, Harshada Khanvilkar as Saundarya Inamdar, Anagha Atul and Atul Ketkar are playing key roles in the show.
Like Hindi entertainment industry, artistes from various Marathi TV shows were tested positive recently. A few weeks ago, six people on the sets of ‘Singing Star’ were tested COVID-19 positive. The list included participants Purnima Dey, Rohit Raut, Juilee Joglekar and Abhijit Kelkar. Later all of them tested negative and have resumed shooting too. Also,artistes and crew members from show ‘Aai Majhi Kalubai’ also resumed show after their cast and crew recovered from Corona recently. Recently actress Nivedita Saraf who is essaying interesting role in show 'Aggabai Sasubai' was also tested positive for COVID-19 and is under home isolation.
