Seeing Navratri as a time of hope and goodwill, Alka is now taking this time to reflect and devote herself to the Goddess.

, I make sure that I visit the Shri Ambabai Temple. I feel completely recharged and positive after the darshan. I truly believe that Devi maa is watching over all of us in these trying time.”
Speaking of her role as a goddess in the show, she says, "I don't do any special preparation as such for the role. The moment I get into the avatar of devi, my soul fills with energy and on camera, it comes naturally."
