Malayalam TV audience is set to witness yet another love story. However, this time it is not between a young couple, but two middle-aged people. The upcoming show, 'Balanum Ramayum', starring Sarath Das and Sreekala Sasidharan will portray the love between Balan and Rama, who are in their early 40's.
As per the updates, the story progresses in the backdrop of Vaikkom, a serene village. Balan and Rama are two adults who missed finding a pair for themselves because of their responsibilities to their families. However, the story takes an interesting twist when both Balan and Rama meet each other with a marriage proposal. How love blooms between the duo and they enter marital bliss forms the crux of the story.
The teaser of the show featuring the characters and the cinematic frames of Vaikkom has already caught the attention of the telly audience.
Interestingly, the show will make the acting comeback of actress Sreekala, who was taking a sabbatical from the industry. Along with Sarath and Sreekala, the show will have Krishna Prasad, Preetha Pradeep, Sreelekshmi, Omana Ouseph, Anoop Sivadasan, and Aswan Prabha playing meaty characters.
'Balanum Ramayum' will have the premiere on Monday (April 10).
