South Indian actress Vinaya Prasad is set to make a comeback on Malayalam television with the new serial, ‘

Ammuvinte Amma

’.

The actress, who is quite familiar to the Malayali audience with her role as

Sreedevi

in the all-time favourite movie,

Manichitrathazhu

, will be the lead in the serial to be aired on

Mazhavil Manorama

from March 27.

Going by the promo of the serial shared on its social networking page, the serial is a family drama that revolves around the story of a child named Ammu. Apart from Vinaya, Ponnambili serial fame, Malavika Wales will also be seen in one of the lead roles. The soap will go on air from Monday to Friday at 7.30 pm.
