Vanambadi written update, August 23, 2018: Chandran is on cloud nine

In the latest episode of Vanambadi, the music director calls Chandran and informs his wish to ask Anu sing in his music album. Chandran is surprised to hear this and says he is happy to accept the offer. Chandran says that he will meet the team soon.
In the meantime, Vinod calls Mohan and says that Chandran had called to thank him. Vinod thanks Mohan for his concern for Anu.Mohan suggests Vinod not to reveal anything to Chandran.
Vidyananthan meets Mohan and enquires about Anu. Mohan reveals that Anu is his brother's adopted daughter and requests him not to reveal that he has suggested her name. He also says that Chandran will not be happy to accept his favor.
Vidyananthan informs Mohan that Chandran will reach the studio soon. Mohan decides to hide when Chandran comes and makes Sudevan go out from the studio compound.
Chandran reaches the studio and meets the Kuyilkoodttam team. The music album producer says that he is impressed by Anu's voice. He also gives money in advance to Chandran. Chandran gets emotional. Mohan sees all of these and becomes happy too.
On the other hand, Padmini and Rukmini are trying their best to stop Nandini's special tuition to Anu. Thamburu is furious that none of their plans are working out. Bhadra promises them that she will throw Nandini out of the house soon.
