Times when Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 contestants mastered the art of spoiling the tasks

Times when Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 contestants mastered the art of spoiling the tasks

If spoiling a task were an Olympic event, the Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 contestants would have brought home the gold. The makers of this season clearly went all out, designing some brilliant, entertaining, and challenging tasks. But the contestants? They seemed equally determined to butcher them, with a perfect mix of ego, laziness, and personal vendetta. Let’s take a look at the many ways they managed to turn tasks into total disasters.

2/10

Missing the spot eviction

For the first time ever in Bigg Boss Malayalam history, the season kicked off with a golden opportunity, a chance for contestants to actually evict someone during the very first task. In “Pukanja Kolli Purathu,” the inmates had to pick out the most undeserving members of the house. The chosen four were asked to stay outside, and one of them could’ve been sent home based on how they performed.
But of course, instead of seizing the chance, everyone decided to play it safe. The result? A wasted opportunity and a very boring ending. So much for making history, they chose diplomacy over drama. Tragic.

3/10

Swetchathipathi Task

Ah, Nevin, the man who single-handedly turned a promising task into a snooze fest. The beloved “autocrat” or “ruler” task came much earlier this season, but it didn’t take long for it to crash and burn. Instead of playing the dictator and spicing things up, Nevin thought hoarding food for himself was a power move. Things went downhill faster than a weekend eviction episode. When a petty makeup issue between Anumol and Gizele erupted, Nevin dramatically declared he’d rather leave the house if Anumol wasn’t punished.
And he did just that — walked out mid-task. The autocrat who couldn’t handle a little makeup drama. Iconic, really. The task ended abruptly, with no winner and no entertainment. Just… chaos.

4/10

The Panippura Task

The daring task that turned into the boring task — thanks to Aryan, Aneesh, and Gizele.
The trio was given three bold challenges: shave their head, drink a juice, or stay silent for the rest of the season. Sounds juicy, right? Unfortunately, Aryan chickened out with silly excuses, Aneesh followed with his trademark stubbornness, and the whole task fell apart.
In a painful twist, the host later revealed they would’ve won if they had at least tried. Ouch. The courage level? Somewhere between zero and a cold filter coffee.

5/10

Hotel Task

An all-time Bigg Boss classic that could have delivered peak drama, and it did, but for all the wrong reasons.
Shanavas, assigned as the housekeeping staff, decided to wage war against manager Lakshmi. What started as a mild disagreement turned into a full-blown ego clash, ending in a shouting match that left everyone wondering if they’d tuned into Hotel Hell.
To top it off, Shanavas disrespected guest Riyas Salim, because apparently, professionalism is optional in the Bigg Boss house. Task spirit?Absolutely destroyed.

6/10

Noodhila Factory

Now here’s a task that had all the ingredients for solid entertainment, until Akbar decided to play factory politics.
As the union leader, Akbar thought it would be genius to go against owner Noora and hide the raw materials and tools. The result? Total chaos, zero productivity, and one more task officially declared dead. If spoiling the fun was his mission, consider it accomplished.

7/10

The Juice Company Task

Aneesh took the spotlight here, for all the wrong reasons, again. When quality inspector Anumol criticized him, he responded like any mature contestant would: by throwing away all the juice bottles.
Once the tantrum began, Nevin and Adhila jumped on the chaos train too. By the end, the task was officially called off. Another one bites the dust or in this case, spills the juice.

8/10

Shanavas Ruins the Secret Task

And finally, the cherry on top, Shanavas, yet again.
Aryan was on a roll, completing a series of secret missions like a stealthy Bigg Boss spy. Everything was going great until Akbar, in a questionable move, told Aryan to rope in Shanavas. Big mistake.
Not only did Shanavas refuse to join, but he also leaked the entire secret task to the rest of the house. Mission aborted, entertainment lost, task ruined. Classic Shanavas move, if there’s a way to spoil it, he’ll find it.

9/10

The captaincy trio

Not just pros at dodging tasks, but absolute masters at wrecking responsibilities too. In a historic first, Bigg Boss decided to bless the house with three captains: Nevin, Akbar, and Aryan. What was supposed to be a golden era of teamwork quickly turned into a full-blown circus of ego and entitlement. From running the kitchen like their personal kingdom, to rationing food as if they were distributing national assets, and finally, their oh-so-touching display of concern during Shanavas’ collapse — the trio truly outdid themselves. If chaos had a leadership team, it would look exactly like this.

10/10

Final thoughts!

This season’s contestants have truly set a new standard, not for task performance, but for task destruction. If there were a trophy for ruining challenges with style, the Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 house would need a bigger shelf.
