There is no casting couch in Malayalam Television Industry: Rekha Ratheesh
Have heard about casting couches in movies, but to the best of my knowledge, there is no such evil in Malayalam serial industry. It is through multiple auditions that an actress gets cast and I am not aware of any shortcuts.
Working in a TV serial is a stressful job but that doesn't make you depressed, says Rekha Ratheesh, senior actress. popular for her role in Parasparam. Rekha is happy with her tight schedule and her show's location, her home away from home. She opened up about the hardships she faces as a serial actress.
Stress
As per my knowledge, there is no crisis for a new comer inMalayalam serial industry. If you have talent, you will be accepted. I used to judge freshers for new serials. There are instances where I was amazed with the new talent and was actually afraid of losing my own job.
Audience always prefers to see new faces, so there are immense chances for fresh talent. And as the number of media houses are more, there is big demand for good artists - whether you are a new comer or an experienced one.
Casting Couch

I don't think there is any requirement of any 'adjustments' for a role. If you have real talent in you, then you won't require any shortcuts and I strongly believe that.
