ATMA Malayali Heroes , official Cricket team of Association Of Television Media Artistes (ATMA) played a friendly 20 -20 cricket match with Denta Masters CLUB, a cricket club of Professional dental doctors on a lush green pitch at the Kerala Cricket Association ground in Thodupuzha, Kerala.
Team ATMA Malayali Heroes, under the captaincy of popular Serial actor Kishor Satya, won the match by three wickets.Team Denta Masters opted to bat first and could only manage a score of 84 runs which was an easy target for team ATMA.
They chased it down with 9 balls to spare. Excellent bowling by actor Raj Kumar made the win easy for ATMA as he grabbed three important wickets including the prized wicket of Dr Vimal Raj R, who was their key batsman. Denta Masters team was led by Dr Arun Kumar V and consisted of practicing dentists from different hospitals all across the state. It was also their first match against a professional team.

ATMA Malayali Heros is a team of trained cricket players from Malayalam television industry, who have been playing for the past four years and have also won many prestigious tournaments. The team is presently under training for the ‘Famous Premiere League’, a cricket tournament organised for South Indian Television Artists, which is to be held in Hyderabad in the coming month. Team ATMA are the previous year’s runners-up and are busy playing practice matches to shape themselves to be Champions. The team members include Sajan Surya, Anoop Sivasevan, Rajesh Hebbar, Ranjith Raj, Shobi Thilakan , Santhosh Sasidharan, Sumesh, Jishin, Sanju Salim, Rafi, Arun, Santhosh Krishnan, Rajkumar, Madhu Menon, Jayanarayan and Manoj Nair.
