Star Singer: Surya Narayanan's 'miss' in the improvisation round leaves Sithara Krishnakumar in tears
Star Singer is more than just a music reality show. It's a celebration of music and real talent. More than the competition, the show often leaves the viewers in awe with the camaraderie between the contestants and the team. This time, an emotional moment from Judge Sithara Krishnakumar has touched the heart.
In the improvisation round, contestant Surya Narayanan has entered the stage with the popular Hindi song 'Mithwa.' Though the singer impressed everyone with the improvisation and his soulful singing, he missed the lyrics twice in the performance, which left the audience upset. Notably, the miss from Surya has left the judge and singer Sithara Krishnakumar, as she was spotted in tears. Soon after the performance, the singer had poured her heart out.
"I felt really sad as he was singing so well. I have known him since his childhood, and when he missed it, it hurt me. He is a great singer, but I wished this had also been right," she said in tears. Soon, Surya rushed to her and hugged her.
On the other hand, Judge KS Chithra also comforted the singer, praising his singing despite the miss.
"Since it's not our mother's touch, there are chances for such misses. It's okay. But you have sung the other portions so well. The improvisations and fade-out touched my heart," she said. The legendary singer also appreciated the chorus team that had supported the contestant during his challenging time.
Star Singer continues to win hearts with the stunning performances of the contestants. The show currently progresses with the improvisation round, where the contestants present the songs with their own tinge of improvisation in them. In the previous episode, contestant Krishnasree grabbed a golden star for her soulful rendition of 'Kannoram Chingaram.'
