Star Singer: Shivapriya and Krishnasree set the stage on fire with 'Ghoomar'; KS Chithra calls it a magical performance
The contestants of Star Singer are sure to impress the audience with each of their performances, and the latest addition to the list is Shivapriya and Krishnasree's Ghoomar performance. Kicking off the Do or Die round, the duo has sung Shreya Ghoshal's all-time favorite Hindi song, Ghoomar, from 'Padmavat.' Undoubtedly, they just nailed it.
In the recent episode, contestants Shivapriya and Krishnasree literally set the stage on fire with their electrifying performance. From their improvisations to precision in rendering the notes, both of them yet again proved that they are talented singers. Though there was a bit of suspense from the judges, judge, and singer KS Chithra rang the buzzer, and the duo grabbed a golden star for their performance.
"It was a magical performance. Though there were slight mistakes here and there, the overall performance just washed it out," Judge KS Chithra said.
During his review, singer and judge Vidhu Prathap shared that it was nothing short of a dhamaka.
"My heart is full. Both of you deserve the golden star. At some portions, it just felt like the recording," celebrity judge and singer Harishankar said.
As per the results, in the Do or Die round, both Krishnasree and Shivapriya will be getting 5 marks each.
In the Do or Die round, the contestants can be seen challenging each other. After the performance, the one who manages to win the maximum vote percentage wins and gets 5 points. However, the one who loses in the round will have 0 on their scorecard.
In the first performance of the round, Dilraj and Theertha competed with each other, singing the popular Carnatic song Alaipayuthe. Dilraj topped the performance and grabbed 5 points for him.
Star Singer recently declared the top 10 contestants of the show. The show, which is inching to the final lap, recently eliminated contestants Gowtham and Pavithra from the game.
